It is Spring time and a young man’s attention turns to… Scooters! The weather however is a strange mistress and does not always cooperate. In these early days of Spring, your judgement should be your guide. A short ride may be bearable for a short time, but your still need to bundle up for longer adventures. Our adventures, our “Swarms” are always ongoing. We meet every Sunday, Scooter or no Scooter, just to get together and plan our Swarms on Long Island.

Most of of our rides are unplanned. You do not need an invitation. If it isnt raining or snowing, we will be there. We may not always ride, but we will be there waiting for you. Yes, you. This is a club of riders. While we apprciate you following our Swarms online, but we really like it when you join them. Riding in a group isnt hard, in fact its pretty easy. Its also fun! And cool! We like it and have been doing it this way for 25 years.

Where do we do it? We meet at: Town Bagel in Plainview @ 1141 Old Country Rd, Plainview, NY 11803. Usually around 930. We are a casual bunch and everyone that loves Scooters is welcome. We do not favor any brand of Scooter but we do ask that you be legal when Swarming with us.

Our Swarms are usually not long rides but there are exceptions. The best way to know or to influence where we are going is to show up. We do plan rides and invites are sent via Facebook. We also will keep you informed via this Blog. We are not perfect or formal but we are Long Island’s Scooter Club. If you have any questions please contact us.
