The Winter Scooter Season…

We do not have anything to prove so, riding in the foul weather is not on our schedule. You should be making your plans to store your bike properly. Keeping it on a Battery Tender is very important. That way you are ready to roll when a warm day hits. A fuel stabilizer helps too to keep the Gas ok while it sits. Gas can loose its octane level quickly. While a heated space is not needed, a dry one is. My Vespa has lived with only a cover outside for 5 years. It has suffered but it is in great shape regardless. This year I am renting a Garage and keeping it there. It wont be nearby, so casual riding is out for me. We have met for Brunch once a month in the past and I will try to keep that tradition going this winter. Me, I live in Suffolk, so the Bagel place in Plainview is a little far for weekly runs in the winter for me. As some of you know, my health has not been the best and riding is not as easy as it used to be. Stay tuned for a post about all that. Meanwhile, I hope you are entertained by my Comic, Buzz ScooterBoy Rides Again. Our regular rides will begin next year, but a warm Sunday may pop up and we will Swarm. so as always, subscribe and stay tuned!
