A “Scooter Pie” is essentially the same as a “Moon Pie” – both are a marshmallow sandwich between two graham crackers, covered in chocolate, but Scooter Pies were a less widely available brand, primarily popular in the northern U.S. during the 1960s and 70s, while Moon Pies are a more well-known Southern snack with a larger market presence today.
