It is time for another Sunday Swarm. The Weather looks good to go for a ride, so lets do it. We have been “Doing It” for 25 years now. As the Fall Riding Season rolls into winter the riding will be less and less and our Monthly Brunches will resume. It is all part of staying together.

As some of you know I have not been in the best of condition. Last year, Diabetes nearly killed me & I had a Double Bypass. This year, Scaitic Nerve Damage in my Back & Leg combined with Diabetic Nuropathy made me a virtual cripple. After 8 months of intense Phyisical Therapy, I am able to walk but still in having problems. The Doctors say it is a permanent condition.

I have asked Larry to be Moderator of our Facebook Group. I will be asking him and others to lead rides when I can not. Larry has led many rides for us and is the former President of the Honda Gold Wing Club on Long Island. The Sunday swarm is the longest running Scooter meet up in the NYC/LI Area and it will continue regardless of my condition. I will still be managing the websites and Facebook stuff but I must cut back on the riding…

Effective October 6, as of this Swarm, I will be leading rides on the first Sunday of the Month.

Everyone has always been free to organize a ride and I will be here to help. Events are easy to do. Just come up with a plan and I will make the event and send the invites. You can call it whatever you want and do it whenever you want. Just not on the first Sunday Of The Month.

All rides are within the Club and are Club events. You do not need to form a new club to go some place. LOL Starting a new club however isnt funny and is a sure way to get kicked out.

We are a loosley organized group of riders that meet to ride and make friends. This is how it works for us. We do not pressure anyone to join or ride. Just ride when you want to & Scoot on…
